- The Pontifical Ambrosian Institute of Sacred Music can be easily reached by urban underground, bus or tram (Underground line 2 – Porta Genova Station FS; tram n.2, 9, 14, 29, 30: bus n.47, 59, 74) and by a suburban bus (n.325)

The registrar's office is open to the public in the following days and hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 9 – 12 a.m.
Tuesday: 9 – 12 a.m./ 14 – 17 p.m.

The dean, mons. Dr. Gianluigi Rusconi, receives in the Institute by appointment.

The enrolment on courses can be done only through the following procedures:
- online from the site www.unipiams.org
- directly at the registrar's office of the Institute.
Particular economic conditions are reserved for students of the University of Studies of Milan and of the Catholic University, for cantors of the Musical Chapel of the Cathedral of Milan and of the Diocesan Choir not over 30 years old, as well as for whom enrols on more than two courses.

Closing date for enrolment: Wednesday 19 September 2007.
Afterwards the deadline of the closing date, the registrar's office will communicate, through the most appropriate methods, which course run.

At the moment of the registration must be presented:
- certification of the payment, already made, of the membership fee, to make only by a bank transfer on the current account:

- the documentation required for the registration to the courses of Higher Education, or the documentation which proves the qualification for economic benefits.
Every registration unprovided with the above-mentioned documentation will be considered void.
The delayed registration will involve an indemnity of 60,00 €; this sum must be paid in the registrar's office.
If the course couldn't be activated, the administration office will provide for the complete refund of membership fees.

Class lessons last 45' per hour, while individual lessons last 60' per hour.
At the end of each course will be issued an official attendance certificate to the registered auditor students, who will have attended at least 75% of the lessons and of the exercises, but who won't to take, if planned, the final exams.

The students, who will have attended at least 75% of the lessons and exercises and, if planned, will have passed the final exams, will receive a degree in the relative subject complete with the certification of the score and with the indication of the conversion in credits according to the scale ECTS.
- For students enrolled on the Higher education courses, the credits corresponding to every subject will be acquired after passing the relative final exam. At the end of the two-year period, after the work experience, internship or training and after the theoretic-practical final exam, will be conferred to students a degree of Higher education, relative to the course they attended.
